The FIA, the governing body of F1, is set to meet with teams on Thursday to address concerns about a loophole in the power unit regulations. This loophole, if exploited, could give Mercedes an edge of up to 0.3 seconds per lap! That's a massive difference in a sport where milliseconds matter.

Sources suggest that Mercedes, and possibly Red Bull, have discovered a loophole related to the compression ratio of the cylinders in the new power units. The ratio was previously set at 18:1, but the new rules reduced it to 16:1. The Times reports that this loophole came to light after Mercedes employees joined Red Bull, who are developing their own power units.
